NACE+HIC Sheet Plates are primarily designed for use in environments prone to hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) and corrosion, such as the oil and gas industry. While they offer excellent resistance to corrosion in harsh conditions, they are not specifically approved for potable water applications. For potable water, materials that meet health and safety standards for drinking water contact, such as certain grades of stainless steel or specially certified alloys, are recommended to ensure safety and compliance.
